LYS REALITY PART 3: ALONE WITH YOU “FREE MIND”

LYS is drawing closer every day.
We mentioned in recent weeks that we were starting a new series of articles for our valued readers, fellow students, and families. We are proud of the interest you have shown in our column titled ‘The Captain’s Seat’ and the messages you have sent. The vast majority of your questions concern the workings of the mind and the perception of the inner world.
With your kind permission, today I would like to speak sincerely and openly with my fellow students during the LYS (University Entrance Exam) process, have one-on-one conversations with them, and bring up a few important issues together.
My young friends with beautiful hearts, beautiful souls, and precious health:
We all try to find our own path and the meaning of life at every age. I know you want to find your own path too. You can be sure that your family is striving to do not just their best, but even better for you.
I’m not going to discuss your current circumstances with you. Because everyone’s already talking about it, but few are offering solutions.
I’m not going to show you a roadmap for your life and tell you which solution to choose, which path to follow. You already know the best option and the most logical path for yourself. You’re perfectly aware of that. As I write to you, I go back to the past and want to share the future with you. Because the future isn’t just about the LYS or YGS exams. This exam is just a fantastic opportunity for you. Your amazing intelligence and potential can easily overcome much bigger challenges. You’re aware of that too. I see your brilliance in the entirety of psychology, biology, and chemistry. Showing you all these scientific aspects would unnecessarily overwhelm you with this information. But you should know this truth:
We all have approximately 13 billion nerve cells in our brains. That’s the same number as last year’s top scorers in the YGS and LYS exams. All of our processes related to perception, learning, thinking, and memory—processes that will be crucial for you during the exam—are located in the same brain structure: the connective cortex. There’s no comparison here. Remember, you are amazing!

WEEKLY AWARENESS NOTE

In the midst of all this magnificence, I won’t give you positive energy messages like “you’re amazing, just wish for it and it will come true” or engage in classic affirmations and exploitation, because you don’t need them.
As the LYS exam approaches, I want to share this with you: Our perspective on life, and the awareness we bring to that perspective, sometimes leads us to certain prejudices. We experience these mostly in the emotional realm. When we are in love or under pressure, we can feel anxious or afraid. The inability to perceive the small differences in life can lead first to prejudices and then to unhappiness. Our daily actions, thoughts, and feelings influence or guide us.
Now we must awaken our minds, gain new perspectives and new affirmations. There are only two things that remind us of failure: fear and anxiety. They are two great enemies that confuse our minds. The LYS exam, or any other life test, is simply the one you are most likely to pass. As long as there is no fear or anxiety in your mind. As long as we set goals together, solve problems, and look to the future together. Then, the hard work and sweat of days and nights waiting for you will bring you the success you deserve. Just as we have been together in this column for months, we will celebrate this success together as well.
May our hearts, intentions, and love be one…
