IS LUCK, PERSONALITY, OR EDUCATION THE CRITERIA FOR HAPPINESS IN MARRIAGE?

İki çocuk sahibi bir okurum gönderdiği mektupta eşinin kendisini sürekli aşağıladığını ve son zamanlarda şiddet uyguladığını detaylarıyla yazmış.

In our country and around the world, many women become trapped in relationships that damage their self-esteem, self-confidence, emotions, soul, and body. Over time, everything becomes very difficult in this environment, and carrying the burden of life becomes harder each day.

On one hand, there’s the children’s need for a father, and on the other hand, societal pressures, the fear of loneliness, and the prevailing attitudes towards women; in relationships, it’s the women who end up making sacrifices and shedding tears. And often, women cry to be able to endure more.

Verbal, emotional, and physical violence experienced by partners does not discriminate between educated and uneducated women.

Such an environment profoundly affects women biologically and psychologically, causing panic attacks, depression, insomnia, and various hormonal disorders.

Dear readers,

I see marriage as the foundation of healthy societies, and I highly value every comment written. I would like you to read them as well. I believe that the observations made in these comments will greatly enrich us in terms of the realities of our country.

In your opinion, what are the criteria for happiness in marriage: luck, personality, or education?
When a couple goes through a crisis, are they able to analyze and express each other’s true feelings and the difficulties they are experiencing?

Thank you in advance for your efforts.

With my respect and regards, Uğur Uğural
