LISTS

Hello, my dear friends of life in my heavenly Turkey, whose health is precious, whose hearts are kind, whose souls are beautiful, and who are full of awareness.

Greetings to everyone on this first day of February. Do you realize how fast time flies? During adolescence, it feels like years will never pass and life will never end. Then, all of a sudden, knock, knock, knock! The door knocks. The time for the 40-year reckoning has already arrived.

Last week, we discussed with you ‘how powerful the concept of being a parent is’. Our column received over 1 million clicks on social media within an hour. Hundreds of questions poured in from all corners of our country. We got to know hundreds of families. We are sharing these sentences not to boast, but first and foremost to thank you for your awareness and interest.

Dear friends; on this journey of life that we embark on without gaining awareness, we often get stuck halfway. The greatest harm is suffered by the passengers in the back seat. That is, our children. The most obvious example is lists. We place lists before our children. Approaches like ‘I couldn’t become an engineer, but my daughter will study and become one’ unfortunately still persist today. Raising children with such an understanding stems from a failure to recognize the individual’s worth. We raise our children not as individuals, but according to our own model with stereotyped education. Offer your children opportunities and options to discover the path their heart desires. Both our state’s educational institutions and private sector educational investments have scientific projects and highly valuable experts. Our country guides tomorrow’s business and career owners with methods that enable student success to soar to the peak; not towards emotional career choices, but towards correct career choices. Unfortunately, we are surrounded by forces that cannot stomach the development of this beautiful country. In our rapidly developing and growing country, we need a healthy-thinking, healthy-living young generation. All of our students and children are brilliant and very intelligent. Each one is very valuable. Great responsibilities fall upon us in shaping the mindset of tomorrow.

THIS WEEK’S AWARENESS NOTE
All humans are born neurobiologically programmed. From a scientific perspective, we see this: the human brain was created with billions of nerve cells and their connections, focused on success, career, and awareness. For example, alcohol, cigarette, and drug addiction destroy the brain. But we have a brain intelligent enough to recognize these prohibitions. We covered this topic in previous weeks, if you recall. As parents, establishing balanced communication with your child is very important. Why? Because a child needs communication with their parents above all else. Look at the life stories of children today who have intense but quality communication with their parents. All of their pasts are filled with success and honors. Today’s children will be the future of tomorrow in their own fields of expertise and in every branch they believe they can succeed in.

Of course, we will guide them in making decisions that are taken with youthful dreams and which they may later regret. But our children must make choices with their free will on their journey through life. This sentence does not mean we should leave our children to their own devices.

I think we should also not forget this: you cannot split hairs and extract a lemon from a watermelon seed.
