ANXIETY ABOUT LIFE

Hello, my dear friends of life in my heavenly Turkey, whose health is precious, whose hearts are kind, whose souls are beautiful, and who are full of awareness.

Thank you for your interest in our article last week about ‘little men’. We believe we covered a profound topic regarding healthy living and that we took strong steps together.

Many of our valued readers, who are experiencing school performance and communication problems with their children, asked us for a formula for success this week. Remember that formulas written for everyone turn out to be empty. Just like books written for everyone; they’re flashy on the outside but empty on the inside. I think the thing that will benefit us, our families, our loved ones, and society in this life is intention, love, and awareness. That’s the formula.

We said that to cleanse our bodies of toxins and poisons, we need systematic nutrition, patience, and awareness. Do you think the situation is any different in our communication and relationships with people? Often, we act impulsively in anger and cause harm. Am I wrong? Whatever we experience or cause, children suffer the most. Sadly, we make our children pay the interest. This week, many worried parents are complaining about their children’s school performance in the emails they sent. We’ve put these questions on our minds, but tell me this without making up a lie:

“How well can you communicate with your child’s inner world, subconscious, and perceptions?”

Every parent wants their child to succeed. However, most families choose this communication method: “Study hard. Look, exams are approaching, so study hard. Do you know how many hundreds of students will be taking the same exam as you?”

So, that’s the situation. We’re making very serious communication mistakes. I could write dozens more examples of pressure and sanctions. I’m being polite, so I’m not writing down the emails I received from you.

I think that even if your intentions are filled with compassion and love, the silent anger and veiled messages you emanate, even your body language, transform into fear in the other person. But strangely, you can’t see it. I understand you’re anxious. You want your child to succeed in their exams. But as you communicate this way, your child experiences the same stress, anxiety, and excitement—in short, the same fear. Therefore, the child begins to worry not about their own future and self-awareness, but about success in the face of your anxieties about life. Anxiety, excitement, fear equals the question “what if?”. Think about this for a moment. Your child is losing confidence. How could they not? They feel the lack of trust placed in them. Be aware of this. But you still want what’s best for them.

WEEKLY AWARENESS NOTE
We often think we are doing the right thing. This is especially true when it comes to our children and their future. But here’s the problem. How true are our truths? How reliable are they? How scientific are they?

What if your boss constantly set you goals?

What if he approached them with compassionate and loving words like, “Ahmet, work harder, I don’t like your performance. Listen Ali, meet this month’s sales targets or I won’t be responsible, understand?”

How do you perceive that boss?

Are you wholeheartedly dedicated to your work?

Or do you embrace your work with anxiety?

Do you feel safe under that roof?

Or do you offer your good wishes to the boss (in your heart, of course)?

E) None of them.

İşyerinde stres, aile içinde stres, eş ile stres, yaşam mücadelesi derken sağdan sağdan gelenleri bir ağıla kapatırsak eğer; kendi kendimizin farkında bile olmadan depresyona girmemiz an meselesine dönüşür. Sonuç, güçlüden-güçsüze doğru kriz harekatı başlatırız. Ve bize bir adres lazım. İstikamet neresi dersiniz? Sanırım iletişim içerisinde bulunduğumuz her an kendimize şunu sormakta fayda var.

“Where do I stand in life?”
