We are chatting with Gülderen Hanım, a primary school teacher working in Antalya, and her husband, Hikmet Bey. Gülderen Hanım shares an observation: “Mr. Uğur, every weekend we have picnics with my students. I see that the children are fed heavily with foods like bread, potato sandwiches, chips, chocolate spread on bread, cakes, pastries, and ready-made ice cream. I am very saddened by this sight for the future of my country.”
Listening to teacher Gülderen fills me with sadness. I want to share my thoughts on this matter with you.
Foods that our children frequently consume, especially bread, contain gluten, a very dangerous and insidious enemy. This substance crosses the blood-brain barrier in our children and settles on “morphine receptors” there, making our children addicted to bread (morphine addiction).
At school gatherings, I often hear first-grade students say, “Teacher, I can’t feel full unless I eat bread.”
Bread and the gluten in it are not only addictive. They also disrupt the intestinal structure and permeability of our children’s intestinal walls, leading to effects such as attention deficit, insomnia, irritability, and weight problems, as well as depression and schizophrenia.
I would like to share the comments of parents who have taken the time and effort to share their thoughts on this subject, via the link below. I believe that these observations will greatly enrich our knowledge.
